I’m Oyediya Akudinobi, the voice behind The Blissful Marriage Academy, and the storyteller of Blissful Life Journal on Substack. My journey began not from perfection, but from the raw, unpolished moments of love, conflict, and healing.
Why Clarity Before Commitment Matters
There was a season in my life when I felt overwhelmed. Suitors came many of them each declaring, “God sent me to you.” I remember asking myself: How can God send so many suitors to one person? The confusion was real, and the weight of those declarations left me searching for answers.
In that moment of uncertainty, I cried out for God’s help. I needed discernment. I needed clarity. And then God showed up. He began to teach me that clarity before commitment is not optional, it is essential. He showed me that discernment is the key to choosing wisely, that purpose must come before partner, and that emotional healing is the foundation upon which true love can thrive.
This is why I do what I do. I guide youths and singles to:

Seek clarity and discernment before choosing a partner.
Discover purpose before partner, because identity and calling must anchor your relationships.
Prepare adequately for marriage, so that love is not just exciting, but enduring.

My story is proof that when God brings clarity, He also brings peace. And my mission is to help you find that same clarity before you commit so your love story can be one of purpose, joy, and lasting bliss.
